Seen this yesterday! wow! i want one! :y







6.2 V8.... Oh yessss!

Note the screen price! 23k!!
I thought that was excellent considering it is a 09 plate...
A decent spec Insignia would cost you that! i know what i would have!

Star Silver for me! but yeah Black too

Dunno about the engines,i know the earlier Monaro's were 5.7 V8 and only had a manual box,this one was 6.2 with an Auto box :y

More Go, same engine family

LS1 (original Monaro) - 5.7l
LS2 (later Monaro, early VXR8) - 6.0l
LS3 (Later VXR8) - 6.2l

mine's an LS1, but still puts out 390 bhp - you'd find that enough for most situations.

but auto though - why have a performance car and then hamper it with an auto box ? this I'll never understand.

Because they change up automatically to reduce wheelspin  ::)  (Joke before you all start having a pop at me - was going to add that that was thier automaticlly controlled traction controll as well ::) ::))

Because modern Auto Transmissions can change gear quicker than any racing driver, can handle greater torque than a manual coupled to a clutch etc etc etc.

Many reasons.  :y

I think it would look better if it was styled a little more conservatively, to make it more of a sleeper, which would be a brilliant contrast against its performance, surprising all! :P
