Front drivers door lock
« on: 06 September 2010, 22:27:09 »

Even though I never use the door lock and always use the remote I need to know something about it.

Around the key hole there is a plastic ring which is not painted. It almost looks clear. Why is it like that?  ;)

It's a good idea to use it every now & then so you have half a chance of getting into your car if the casr's battery goes dead flat.  :y

I'm sure there's not one on mine. The lock itself apears to be stainless but if I find a plastic bit on mine when I change over my 'new' door handle I'll let you know.  :y :y ;)
