Cheap brand name timing kit?
« on: 13 September 2010, 23:36:26 »

Hey guys... I'm having a VERY hard time finding a good priced timing kit here in the US. I contacted Vauxcentre.co.uk, but they don't ship to the US, therefore I am stuck.

Cheapest timing kit in the US is $195 USD, which is far too much considering in the rest of the world, one can be had for under $130 USD. I don't want a unknown off-brand.. so if anyone could help (IE have me paypal money to you, you buy me a cheap timing kit, and ship it here) That would be great.

Thanks!

This seller says he'll ship world wide. However it doesn't give a manufactures name  :-/

Try Buypartsby.  They supply Contitech kits (one of the OEM suppliers)  Had 2 sets - both proved OK.  Don't know if they ship to the States though - you'll have to ask.

Yeah... they won't ship to the US either...

After looking, I think I have no choice but to get ripped on one and buy it here in the US.

Worth asking Andy C perhaps?
