Peugeot 307 cc key prob
« on: 15 September 2010, 18:02:19 »

Miss H21 has a 307cc and, to be honest, its not a bad wee car.  She is a teacher and so, fits the persona!

Problem is the spare kay.  Not only does the flick knife blade gubbins not work, it does not lock/unlock on the button presses and neither does the boot release.

Changed the battery and no change.  Key does start the car though but seeing as there is no keyhole for the metal blade, its not a great deal of use as a 'spare'.

Anyone any ideas as to whats what?  The PCB looks ok but I'm no expert in these things.

Your JLR dealership should have a RF scanner for key testing,so take the key to work and see if you get a reading.

manual key hole is often on our passenger door, it is on SWMBO's Smart & I've seen a key lock on a Renaults passenger door too. I know it not an answer to you problem though  ::)
