I sat down with good intent to do "how to change the battery on a key". guide. All went well, photos etc until I realised that I had lost (for good it turned out) the chip out of the key. Slightly discouraged but I will be back one day with an easier guide ( How to open the bonnet?) one day.

Got the procedure sussed now I think, plenty of practice at Newent. Christ, my foot was aching for a week after doing yours the dtm way.

if your planning on a few more jobs alike i reckon an air chisel would not come a miss( unless i missed a bit)
