a mate of mine has a volvo d5 diesel of course,has aproblem with eml light and going into limp mode.he recently put fully synthetic oil in,should this oil be used in a diesel?i am just curious thats all!!code is for turbo waistgate valve i thoink!

0W30 castrol (has volvo logo on it) shoud be used if still under warranty. thats what was used in mine, as for the code im not sure if its related to the oil. someone more turbo minded might know.
