Decisions - what shall I do?
« on: 29 June 2007, 08:07:39 »

I currently have three cars, albeit one is currently with Taxi Driver.

Which one do I keep, and which ones do I sell!!

I'm completely neautral at the mo.

The running costs and newish plate on the Veccy appeals to me, but driving a Veccy doesn't. And it would depend on if I could fix it, and when.

The Estate 3.0 manual is clean, fun, comfy, returns the meduim MPG of the lot, and great for Dogs.

The Saloon, needs an exhaust box, and a rear window to become sell-able.

What would you do?

Ah.. Crap... Not told Maria about the Veccy yet  :-X

She won't mind, because it's a blinding deal - but the cat may be out of the bag about where we're going on Saturday, if she reads this  ::)

RIP James.

He was a well loved member of the forum until his untimely demise at the hands of his girlfriend!  :(

... and after surviving all those gearbox change-induced injuries and proudly soldiering on, a little slip like this turns out to be his undoing.  :'(

Keep The Estate and sell the other two

The Estate is better for you doing your Mobile Mechanic work

Estate makes no odds for that. I don't need a big car, the only things I really do are cambelt and camcover changes...

James, you have a dog.....and I'm sure it would be better in the back of an estate than being a potential projectile fom the back seat.

Small Dog... would be fine in the back of the Veccy with the parcel shelf removed...
