Big thank you to Wellung for coming over to do the breathers.

One pipe was split, another was totally bunged up.

Engine management didn't come on when we started it, thought we had magicaly cured it, but it's come back on again now.

Will clear the codes in the morning, and run diagnostics on it again.

Changed the spark plugs at the same time, which were well overdue by the looks of them. Surprise, surprise, guess how tight the old ones  were >:(

Hopefully, only the front wheel bearing, door lock (new one kindly supplied by Wellung), O2 emmissions fault and cam belt to do now, apart from a few dash bulbs.

More problems, (have I bought a pig in a poke?).

Rear seat lap strap missing, never noticed that when I bought it.

Passenger seat motor only clicks when you operate the button.

Ignition key has started sticking in the lock.

After doing the breathers, and taking it for a good run yesterday, engine is running like a 3 legged dog.

Depressed :(

Mrs AA's not a happy bunny, had to ride in the back as she can't adjust the seat properly.

Thanks for that.

Interesting, I can now get rid of the fault codes, drive it, and the engine management light stays off.

Stop, and restart it, light comes back on with the the same fault codes as posted earlier.

Must be an air leak, I think, wish I knew more about these V6's, still struggling to find my way around the bloody thing, even after helping, watching Wellung take the thing to bits.

Still don't think I've got the confidence to do it on my own yet. :(

Hands and fingers losing some of their strength :(

Eml - just the O2 fault?

air leak - spray carb cleaner around the engine with it idling, if the note changes, you have a leak....good time to polish it up too  :y

So, what are the codes that keep coming back? Just the O2 heater warning?

I wonder if this is only triggered when starting cold?

Do you still have a large fuel trim on one bank only? That could be a clue. Maybe an air leak into that bank, exhaust manifold drawing in air or just a dead lambda sensor, I suppose.

Right, Mrs AA can now sit in the front seat, thank's to Marks guide, and Jimbob pointing me into the right direction.

Don't know what I was thinking about, it's got a 3 point centre belt in the rear :-[

Re-seated the 4 pipes at the back of the plenum, seems a bit better now.

Cleared the codes, started it and got:-

P0135 -(2) O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1) - Intermitant.

P0135 - (8) O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfuction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) - Intermitant.

No EML.

Took it for a run:-

as above +

P0135 -(4) O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Open (Bank 1 Sensor 1) - Not Present.

P0136 -(4) O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1) - Intermitant.

Switched off - re-started EML on.

Same codes.

Engine temperature doesn't seem to run much above 80.

Stat sounds knackered. Not a big issue, but something you'll want to get sorted eventually. Fortunately a good guide ::), probably still in test area, unless JB has got round to merging it to our existing guide ;D

Might be worth getting someone at Newent to monitor the lamdas when you go for a drive, though initial thoughts are the lamda wiring looks suspicious.  The fact that its one bank only makes me think it probably isn't MAF

Had a look and I've only got 1 lambda in the box and the part number is 09 202 576 which I believe is off a 2.2.
