Sorry, side tracked.

Scotland well worth the drive to, whatever time of year. Also there will be no midges left, so all the space that was going to be used for a crate of repellant can be used for spares. Bulbs, screenwash and poss wiper blades if the weather is likely to turn nasty whilst your up there.

I used to love handing Scottish notes over the counter in England, the further south the better. They always pulled their face & asked .... have you nothing else?

The cheeky tw7ts tried to charge me 10p in the pound exchange rate when I was in Manchester last year. Like I would fall for that one. Eventually got my full pounds worth.
