Didn't think a Senny went that fast, had the limiter been removed?

Had 135 ish out of my Carlton Gsi 3 ltr 24v on a private road once (I think it was called the A30 accross the Bodmin Moors ::)).

I got 145 mph out of my old 24v Senator, all totality legal on a German Autobahn  8-)

The Carlton was limited to 149, I thought the Senny was too.

i done 149 on a runway.... as a passanger in a boeing 737  ;D

No seriously 140+ in my cav, backed off tho as it still has the original turbo with near 150k on the clock. Unfortunately i was sending it off for a rebuild shortly afterwards  ::)

Never managed more than 135mph from the 3.2 Elite either, but that was more about being sensible (visibility) than lack of power/obstacles...  ...plus I've only driven it her car about a dozen times ;D

And also one of the country's longest runways around the corner, when the Police aren't using it for training ;)

I have been round there without permission, more than once ::).  Had a scary one in the gravel trap at (old) Stowe once, but managed to keep it moving and get it out - not sure security would have been that helpful ::)

They are much, much stricter nowadays, and guard access better now.
