Remember that Disco II i posted about few days back, HG has blown. I think the poor coolant plumbing of the LPG system caused air-locks which caused block to over-heat.

It expired in a cloud of steam on the M40!

Its a 1999 on a V, 90k miles, top spec, leather seats, optional upgraded sound pack. Its got an SGI LPG system, with a under-slung 75L tank, with a 35L petrol tank now instead of original one.

It belongs to a guy I work with and is looking to get shot.

He paid next to nothing for it anyway so bit of a bargain really, should someone off here want it (be sub £1k)

Hmm.... Tempting but I fear the damage may be more than HG. Is it a 4.0 or a 3.9?

Sacrilege (possibly)......but surely with the LPG components and Disco II itself, at "sub £1k" there`d be a significant profit in it as a 'breaker'......I certainly would; if I only had the money!

I'm tempted to raid the piggy bank and get it as a fixer, then take a view on whether I keep it but not sure it's going to be as simple to fix as just a HG... Plus got to put that LPG installation right and then find a LPG installer to set it up as I won't be able to get the software/key to do it.

Suppose I could just stick a new Front end in as it'll be stripped down :-/

Overall is in excellent condition. But it may have sold already, watch this space!
