I know how to get shut of the display when it thinks it needs servicing, but out of interest, does anyone know what criteria it uses to count down to displaying INSP? SWMBO's Smart counts down from 7000 miles when you reset it, but there is also a time element to it, if it hasn't done 7000 miles in 12 months it'll start counting the days backwards.
Is it possible to 'ask' the Astra where it thinks it's up to? As said, it's only for interest as it doesn't get serviced to Vx's schedule anyway.

Vectra c reset makes the car default to 20k intervals

but do you have to wait for INSP to appear before you can reset it? Or can you see where it's up to? :-/
