Well it's in the Garage Again!
« on: 10 January 2011, 21:23:51 »

This perfect purchase is turning out to be one flippin expensive car.....Only bought in August, cost £900 so far in repairs :'( :'( :'(

Starter been slow for a couple of weeks, advice suggested coolant sensor but seems not, Battery, supposedly new in August was duff, according to diagnostics in the garage, new one fitted still iffy and starter started putting out smoke and smell....so looks like a new starter then more money..... :'( :'( :'(

My dad, picking me up from the garage, asked me why we had not bought another Mitsubishi? so is swmbo.... ::) ::) ::)

Tell 'em that you could buy 6 starters for the Omega for the price of 1 starter for a Mitsi.  :y

Curious here, why would a faulty starter put out more smoke and smell?
