BASINGSTOKE
« on: 05 July 2007, 20:40:00 »

Booked in for a course at Basingstoke for 4 days from 23rd July, not sure whether to travel down and back each day or just stay for the 3/4 nights, mee thinks stay for the 3 nights SWMBO may need some convincing on this one though ::), I reckon at least 3/4 hours driving a day from peckham and back again don't have the course start times but would assume are 9 to 5.  Comments welcome  :y

I would stay over for the duration, you say its only 3/4 drive but hit traffic and you end up doing a long day.
Can I ask Mike, what course is it your doing.

I personally would stay for the 3/4 days at the hotel.
1 Less stressful.
2 No traveling to the course.
3 A good nights sleep and refreshed in the morning
4 Don't have to get up to early to travel.

From Peckham over to Basildon will only take you about 2 Hours, but it will still be  better for you to stay over, you can tell your better half that their is more action in a nuns convent after 8 o`clock than there is in Basildon. Perhaps that will calm her down. ::)
