« on: 25 January 2011, 19:15:58 »

was delivering a parcel today and while i was waiting had a nose in the garage that was attached to the house.had a chat will the lady and she says it used to belong to her son who moved to austraila 10 years ago.
theres no interior/steering wheel looks like a rolling shell ,engine/gearbox looks complete with a twin choke carb and k@n filter
the top of the engine is a strange shape like a T
how can i tell what size engine it is?
or wether its opal or vaux.?
it is defently rear wheel drive,2 door and a coupe shape.

Could be a Cavalier sportshatch. Should have either Griffin or Opel badges on bonnet and boot iirc.

It won't have a Opel Blitz on a Vx Sports Hatch. Vx also made a coupe, same as shown above but without the slotted grille,  :y and rear number plate below the bumper  :-[

no its not a firenza, theres no badges at all on it at all ,its been rubbed down for painting and its in a grey primer.i think all the bits like interior lights etc must be somewhere else as i didnt see them in there.

They were over rated tbh Pete. Too big, too heavy, too much overhang behind the rear axle, and not that much grunt.
Nice looking car in thier day though. :y

Swotimean. ;D.....I worded it wrongly really. If it had vx badges - cavalier sporthatch/coupe. Opel badged - manta hatch/coupe. :y
