As discussed before, I am building a corsa B track car with a mate.

I thought I would share a few pictures

Here is the car the engine came from, a rather tatty 2001 Vectra B with a snapped drive shaft. £200 to buy and £40 delivered to my house



I was a bit of a gamble that it had a x18xe1 and not the "Fly by wire" z18xe in,

Anyway, I got to work stripping it and came accross my first problem. A cracked manifold, gutted as thats the only bit of the exhaust that I needed.



A trip down the local scrappy and a poorly old Zafira that donated its manifold



And here it is £30 later



Then we got onto pulling the lump out of the car
