Does anybody know how to track down a car?  I have found out that it is still taxed, but would love to locate it and buy it back!!!!!

I've had a quick look on the DVLA website I think you'll find what you are looking for in the following link:-

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/AdviceOnKeepingYourVehicle/DG_4022067

You will have to scroll down a bit but I think this is what you need. :y

To be honest I have no reason to have looked, doubt I will ever use it. I wonder if tracking an old car is a valid excuse?

You have to have a valid reason eg hit and run for example,I'm sure Hotel 21 will correct me and have a more definitive answer. :y
