If you want the engine, then it might be worth it to you I suppose. :y

Last week I weighed in a Vectra shell, no engine, exhaust, cat, loom was cut out and the alloy wheels had been removed.

I have my doubts that a *real* 20 mph or less collision would allow a couple of tonne of cow to clear the bonnet.

My interpretation of the damage was that he wasn't going fast enough to have cleared the legs (and would almost certainly have damaged the front bumper if he were) and cause so little damage to the roof.

I agree with you H21, I have seen plenty of "animal" damage to vehicles and would expect either more damage to the bumper or more to the roof  :-/

Hit a small deer at 50 ish, braking hard. Deer broke a headlight bracket and pushed the bonnet back behind the bumper line. Came quite close to putting the fans through the radiator. Fortunately it the went under the car... :-[

I would be asking the local constabulary if they're missing a car from a hit and run. :-/

Roof is probably an easy repair without the screen in. Wouldn't bother though. :-/

I have seen instances where the rear end of a cow/bullock has been forced through the screen/roof and into the back seat with minimal markings to the front of the car.

A couple of tonne of heifer versus people sat in cars and speed? No contest...

Not a nice thought I know, but I can't help wondering just how did they get the cow out again  ;D ;D

Tractor and chains.  One for the cow, one for the rear of the car & nearby tree...   ;)

It's the shape of the crease on the roof that makes me skeptical...  Along with the intact sunroof...

I can see the trim that is damaged under the nearside headlight, but the bonnet appears undamaged, which I would expect to be heavily damaged up by the windscreen and also some damage to the dash...

It looks much more like an argument with a traffic sign to me....

I honestly could not care if a cow hit it or not, thats a cheap breaker there with a 3.0 litre lump. If it was closer I would have it and I wouldnt even question how it was damaged.

At the end of the day it aint going back on the road so who really cares if a cow hit it or not?

What has the seller got to gain by not telling the truth?
