I should point out those Michelin tyres are truely awful.  Its the first time ever I have considered binning tyres with 5-6mm still on.  And I've tolerated some crappy tyres in my time....

More to the point, do you have legal recourse with the dodgy used car salesman who sold it to you with it's lifetime warranty?  ::)  ::)

I'd be guessing something around the plenum area?

And btw if you need bits quickly, I've got a 2003 3.2 spare atm if you need bits from that...then you can replace those parts at a later date.
