AC Stag 300 LPG ECUs
« on: 14 May 2011, 13:35:36 »

Probably one for the cripple, but...

Is the Stag 300 Plus running the latest firmware (ie, from AC Syncro 7) the same as a Stag 300 ISA2?

LD - was mine left on ISA2 auto adaption - as that might explain why every now and again, I see it flick to petrol, esp on the trip back from Essex?

If that is the case, can I run an Autocalibrate (the initial one, that will moan about injector size), then turn on ISA2, and just drive it around merrily until it sorts its life out?

(I will obviously check for fault codes first, once I've upgraded AC Syncro on Hotel21's spare my lappy).  Connections all look OK:

LPG inj    Cyl
1              1
2               3
3               5
4               2
5               4
6               6

That was how we did it, wasn't it?

Yes to all :y

The ISA2 autocalibrate thing... Turn up the sound on the lappy and test the noises, then the laptop/switch buzzer (can't remember which) will make those noises when it wants you to do something :y

That's if you turn on the Adaptation Assistant and want to collect a new map anyway.

Hopefully you can auto calibrate it and keep the existing map as it was pretty good :y

I started again from scratch...  ...autocalibrate, then enables ISA2...  ...it hasn't yet fully got its maps, but guess it will eventually get them

Think the MV6 needs one as well, but pointless until I can reset the trims in the petrol ECU, and there lies a problem.... ::)
