Ahh OK, ive never owned a car that is newer than 2001 so hadn't really looked in that much details  :-X

Yep the pre 2001 system is under 1.5 and over 1.5.

that's why I like old cars as you can have a huge car and pay reasonable tax

Nope, but they can afford to spend x000's on mods and insurance for a peice of junk!

For those that don't know about it, have a look here http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/, I often entertain myself looking through the latest finds and there are some nasty cars on there.
