LPG filler hoses have a weak link a few inches before they attach to the pump itself, so most of the pipe comes off if you drive away with it attached.. apparently.

It's the stupid bits of retracting cord that are a major PITA, and always too short.  >:( (until they break off due to people yanking on them).

Still, all pumps I use reach my towbar from either side, and if I do manage to drive off with it attached, the bumper won't get left behind. Neither will the towbar. ;)

When I was considering (Well I still am really!) LPG on my V6 I visted two local suppliers that allow you to have an account with them. No forecourt queues, just drive down the farm track!

Didn't go to Fleet yesterday, did you, Martin?

Went to fill up and found one of the pumps had the pipe in 2 halves. ::)

I'm guessing you know about it when it happens. ;D One of those hoses must hold quite a bit of liquid?

1) Barrier between pump and car, can be awkwards to couple up
2) Have to trek quite a way to pay and back
3) Then forget

Why didn't you uncouple once you finished fuelling  :-/. Strikes me as daft not to... ...you wouldn't leave the petrol pump in your filler when you went to pay  :-/
