Author Topic: MOT time for my 98 MV6....  (Read 2701 times)

MOT time for my 98 MV6....

.....any guesses on failures / advisaries?

I'm guessing there might be some welding required as her bodywork is rusting nicely so maybe underneath is too. :(
We were advised to have the exhaust welded when I had geometry done but then promptly forgot about it, oops! :-[

Well ive checked all the simple things

Serviced brakes not long ago

tyres, front perfect, rear around limit - due changing about autumn I think

lights all work

wipers / fluids all sorted.

all steering components feel ok to me.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow afternoon  :y

The guy that used to do my MOT's said to take the car for a run, let it get to high revs a lot, and this would help pass the emissions test! :y

Results are in on a certain 2.5 V6 Cdx.......that was also in for its MOT today.
