I have half heartedly been dismantling my red mfl Omega over the past two months. This week I decided to give myself a deadline. It goes tonight at five p.m. free collection (that is the deal in Spain but he will let me go to the yard and take the wheels off later) 

Have taken a mountain of stuff off ( Lord knows where I will keep it all)which may or may not ever be used and it has been hard work. Even assuming you find buyers and they actually follow up their interest then the other work begins packaging, sorting out postage costs and so on..

Having had lots of parts from other members over the last five years I would just like to say - respect to the breaker

Although I enjoy working on cars, I don't think some people appreciate the work involved in getting their parts to their doors. 

Add to that, some people waste your time or want parts for next to nothing, and it can become a thankless task at times!!

This time of year the weather isn't to bad - but the last car that I scrapped after getting parts was in January - I felt chilled to the bone.

Hit 38 deg C these last two days. Tools get so hot you can't pick them up without gloves.

Nah - if its cold, its easy to warm up. If its hot, its hard work cooling down.

bloody hell thats hot and I'm arriving at Malaga Sunday evening ,I hope it cools down a bit by then
