You apply same pressure in that compared to Omega, vast difference in stopping ability. When i first drove it, it was like your use with gas pedal, it was either on or off

ABS doesn't have any effect whatsoever on the amount of pedal pressure required to stop the car nor does it "kick in" at a certain pressure / position of the pedal.

It will only intervene if the pressure you are putting on the pedal is enough to lock one of the wheels. Take away the ABS system and the pedal would feel exactly the same.

Also in your brake test, put a thorn on brake pedal, or a stone in your sock, see how well you brake then

i know someone that used to drive in pink crocs once or twice they must be dangerous too
