Yesterday, replaced rear pads and discs. As it didn't go too badly, thought Id have a celebratory fuel filter change. As documented elsewhere, it didn't go too well...

Finished my HU install. Got blanking plate for between cup holder and new HU, pics to follow. Definitely doesn't look OEM but not a bodge either so I'm chuffed.

Also waved off my 9-5 aero after a mission getting her onto a wholly unsuitable trailer.

Oh and had the air on tested, re gassed and now ice cold :D. Hope it lasts. Held 10psi for 20mins and passed the pressure test on the machine so I'm hopeful. Formula1 in kidderminster sorted me out. Can thoroughly recommend the guys down there. Even got the correct (950g) of refrigerant.

Drove it (the M3) to Derby. Chopped it in against something with a V8.. Twinge of sadness as I really did love that M3 but couldn't shake the "something expensive is going to expire soon" feeling with the noises it kept making.

Bastard EML has come on, following a slow (25mph) cruise for 10 miles due to resurfacing. In an attempt to clear it, after I'd filled it with gas, I hit a little bridge a hit too hard and have really scrapped all the paint off the bumper now  :-[  >:(

Received 3 packs of 12 waxing pads from Amazon via China - each pack was only about £1.50, so got three packs, and picked up turtle shampoo 750ml bottle (got some extra) from Poundland -will have a go tomorrow, buying them is enough for 1 day :)

Repainted both rear wings and the rear bumper :)

Not a proffesional job but what you want from rattle cans and done on my driveway :y

Replaced the rear doorcards with non scratched type.... had to refurb them by chopping up MV6 doorcards and Elite doorcards :)

Checked oil and water since changing HG's and all good, could do with changing the oil and water though as they look to be a bit crappy TBH...

Does anyone have any way of cleaning the header/expansion tank.... besides buying a new one...
