Thing is, if I bought replacement it might not be any better. Second hand cars are a lottery really. My judgement is usually pretty good, but this one became a bit of a dog after about a year.
Its on its last warning though.  :D
I have a pic somewhere of when I squeezed 70mpg out of it. Usually average around 63, with very little motorway type driving though.  :)

Hopefully, this is it.

Booked the Range Rover in for its service & MOT 17/08/22 only done around 4,000 miles over the last year, fingers crossed for a straight pass again.

Still rubbing filler!! So just for a change one of Ds (where I have my unit) customers came in with a sick Transit just as D had to go out. It was only a wire had come out of a bodged repair to the MAF? sensor so to help D out I did a proper soldered repair to all 4 wires with heat shrink and a larger bit of heat shrink over that . The bloke was "how much do I owe you" , nowt as just helping D out and he would have just bodge crimped it again!!!!

Had lots of goodies turn up today!  :y

New bags and filters for my SEBO vacuum cleaner, fitted no problem and a quick and easy job!  :y

A pair of Bosch traditional style wipers for the V70. No more cheap flat things for me! A quick and easy job!  :y

A new button for the V70's gear shift. A very fiddly thing to fit but got there in the end.  ::)

A new cabin filter for the V70, but it was the wrong one and that's the second one I've bought that didn't fit.  >:(  Cleaned up the old one, put it back and there it will stay!  ::)

Changed the EGR filter, which was going well, right up to the point a bolt sheared.

Fortunately that nice Mr Gixer popped over, looking like he was sporting a decent hangover, with some left hand drill bits....    ...which did SFA.  So he drilled and retapped larger, job jobbed, so huge thanks to chrisgixer :y

Job should have only taken another 10 mins, but some stooopid Brackley Boy neglected to plug in a sensor, so had to get all the diags out to turn the eml back off, grrr

Went to do the shocks, but this car is suffering the standard wheel nut issue, so left them until new nuts arrive.

And Saturday was lost underneath a mates woodworm nest, trying to work out why the car sits pissed.  We need to have another go next weekend.  We got it sitting flatter, but still riding on the rebound bumpstop drivers side...

Watch the rear end if it’s slippery, otherwise give it hell👍

Went really well superb handling nice acceleration, don't think I activated any cameras, only time will tell, but in all honesty prefer the driving position & comfort of my RRS so a BMW is not on my list of must haves..

I'm forever moaning that BMW have lost their way but the latest 3 series is a lovely thing to look at. Interior is a bit high tech for me mind.

I am a fan of the estates, I just wish they still did big engined manuals.
