Gave the Desmond a start to get some heat through it.  (Hasn't moved since the beginning of the month when I changed the expansion tank and for about a month before that) :-[

yesterday, sump dropped to check the oil pickup feed as car had been stood for a year.

All good, couple of tiny metal fragments but not at-all bad.

Replaced the front door check strap bushes.  Under 5 minutes and under 50p to do both sides - if your door clonks as you open it, just do the job, it's a doddle!   :y

I had been suffered with a small amount of coolant loss but yesterday found a small hole/split, fortunately close to the coolant tank and to the end of pipe. Cut back a little , hope that was the only cause... For tomorrow I'm planning a complete swap of tyre garniture /the winter is coming/ till my honey and doughter and my mother in law are shopping...I'm afraid of that swap will be more expensive than usual... :o :o :o

I bolted down the rear seatbelt buckles. Daughter pulled them out of the hole in the seat last week and said, "Shoudn't these be fastened to the car?" :o

What's that all about then??  ???

Pushed the MR2 out of the garage ;D, and drove the Nissan out on to the drive..

And my folks had paid a visit arranged at the last minute, so my Dad gave me a hand to fit the electric garage door opener (so very flash), and then had me hoover the concrete dust off the garage floor .. and laid carpet tiles over the whole thing.

Poshest garage in Bracknell ;D

Oh I forgot the other thing I did today..

Looked at the tailgate just below the boot release button and above the plate, and discovered that it's rotting really, really badly there :(

One step closer yes! Have a replacement exhaust being built but it's all hush hush and being developed in a top secret research facility with a highly trained team of engineers from the Russelheim factory busy measuring, calculating and testing as we speak!
