I thought my useless astra sensor held the record after a 42°C last week. They must all be as wank as each other.

Doesn't the outside temp sensor have a bearing on how climate control works?

Given it is black and was parked in the sun, Its probably not far off.  Dread to think how hot it was inside, but defo "uncomfortable" until the A/C had had a couple of minutes to make it bearable

Well...my CC will be shite then, cause the temperature displayed bears very little resemblance to the actual.

Even after driving a couple of miles? It should then start to resemble the published forecast (shade) temps?

It's always 2-3° higher than actual.

My AC was restored to fully working for yesterdays trip to TB country. It was £60 very well spent. Couldn't bear the thought of doing the trip without it on a day like that.  :)

It must have been fickin orrible being sweaty in summer and constantly having to wipe the windscreen in winter, yet I don't remember it being much of a problem.  :-\
