I didn't get the Evoque, they sold all the stock!

That said the new one does look very nice.

A Velar is on order to replace the F-Pace, and I would buy an F-Pace as its a great drive, economical if you go steady but, hold their money far to much

Serviced big blue. Needs a rear brake cleanup though as the pads are sticking ever so slightly and making a little noise as they catch going round....

And traded in the Zafira and C3 Picasso

Picked up the Battlebus and drove it home.  Managed no sleep on plane, but determined to stay awake in order to reduce jet lag

It never worked for me in over 30 years of professional flying, I and most of my colleagues, found that going to sleep when ready worked best, even if only for a couple of hours. We still do that, particularly flying Eastbound, and find it allows us to get back on UK time quicker.
I believe correct use of melatonin helps considerably, although I have never tried it. :y

My job, which consists mostly of nightshifts, with several days off in between has a similar effect to jetlag. Ive tried all sorts, but have settled on just going to sleep when Im tired, whatever time of day that happens to be.  ;)

Finished work on Friday morning, slept till 7pm, awake til 5 am, dragged up at 11am, slept all afternoon, awake till 3am, up at 12 for breakfast and back to bed. Up just now to take the dog out...

Likely back to sleep about 2, then back at work tomorrow evening  :D

Stripped the plenum and intake off of kitty to replace a breather elbow that was leaking and causing the EML to come on randomly.  Changed the coils and plugs while I was at it and had the dreaded coolant hose plastics break on me too so there was another 120 quid in parts.  Swapped out the stabilisor rods and drop links too as they were shot.

Anyone would think an MOT is on the horizon ::)
