Karcher K4 with correct car bit, whole bonnet suffers a bit, even more so at the front.

It’s been going for a long time, just the bonnet that has it.

K4 is too powerful without a vario lance turned down a bit.  IIRC, the K4 kit doesn't come with a vario, just an unadjustable lance and the dirt buster on the posher kits.  Pressure washers are not good for paintwork, you're better off with a hose and adjustable rose, and a bucket and sponge. 2 buckets if its a nice car.

It comes with lance that lights up, mix, car, hard.

So tuned to car pressure.

TBH, you're better off with a hose and sponge and bucket. Irrelevant on the Omega, but I assume you want to keep the shitbox's paint in reasonable condition.

Fair distance, just use it to wash get grit off. Closer then alloys etc.

It was peeling before I bought pressure washer anyway, on sides next to main grill.

Day 5 of steam watch:

No more significant steam coming out so the tailgaters have returned.  I almost miss being able to boot it and let out a huge plume of steam to any pr!ck behind me

I think I may have a very small leak somewhere, either that or the coolant takes a long time to fully settle on an S-Type.

Vegoil as fuel has the same effect. If they get too close the interior of their car quickly smells like a chip shop or indian takeaway.
The looks I see on peoples faces in the rear view mirror are hilarious.

Nothing they can do about it. Its perfectly legal as long as it isn't throwing out excessive smoke. 
Don't think "funny smells" are covered by motoring legislation.

A few years ago I ran a Rover 218 on veggie oil, and I was sat at traffic lights in Bristol when a Police car pulled up behind.

I kept an eye on them in the mirror and could see the two coppers having a discussion and a fair bit of laughter.  As the one in the passenger seat started to get out the lights went green and I drove off smartly leaving a nice whiff of frying oil behind...   

They didn't chase me.

Ive never been puled, but Im ready if it ever happens.

No car work recently. I keep taking bits off the Honda 90, to clean up and paint and am now at the point where I need to decide if Im going to stop at some point soon, or just strip the whole thing down and repaint everything, rather than just the black bits.

Failed to repair the central locking on the o/s/r of the zafira ,not the motor,not the loom in the door,so I expect it will be the loom between the door and pillar 
but the Zafira was needed ,i ran out of time 

so I replaced the nearly new battery on the "french car" with a dead one,swapped 3 of the nearly new tyres for bald ones (did not have a bald for the 4th  ), removed the aftermarket reversing kit and front wiper motor(as that will fit in my koi pond RDF filter) ,then pumped the remaining diesel from it   
it's got a brand new delco starter motor and lots of other valuable things BUT i CBA

Used the Pussy for the first time in a month.  Being a reformed character, I didn't attempt to get past the slow people that cause all the frustrations and accidents.

Kitty is actually a really nice car to potter about slowly in.
