Looks good, about a million times better than my last effort at any rate.
How long do you think before you'll be ready for IVA and then the subsequent dismantling?
Well .. last time I asked the engine guy when he thought he'd be finished with my engine, he said "it won't be soon" or words to that effect, so I think it's going to be a little while! Realistically I think
my to-do list is now:
Heater (still need to lay upside-down in the footwell and connect the water & air hoses up .. I don't really
fit upside down in the footwell, so need to enlist some help!)
Carpets (which I'm putting off until all the fibreglass work is done)
Escutcheons for the roll hoops (fibreglass work!)
Fit the harnesses (drill one hole .. but I need to put the car on the ground then jack it up high enough that I can get the drill in underneath between the car and scissor lift

)
Re-fit dashboard & seats
Fit the sidepipes as far as I can (cut holes in the fibreglass, make mounts, but no engine to mate the front end to yet)
And then the engine & gearbox need to go in so I can get a propshaft and exhaust manifolds made up.
I have two 'spare' engines - one is a complete runner - and I'm half tempted to clean the running engine up, throw a manual flywheel & clutch on and then get the exhaust etc made up using that. Although when I say that, the clutch isn't cheap (engine builder has my clutch to balance with my built engine) and it isn't exactly easy to put something the size of a big block engine in .. especially when my "runner" has iron heads and iron manifold.. short engine alone is ~300Kg.
So I'll keep whittling the bits away and see who finishes first - me, or the engine guy! I'd really like to be done next summer..
