Gave it a blast home from th'airport just to get the cobwebs out ready for its MoT this morning.

Failed on handbrake efficiency. 11% difference side to side... Nice easy job for this afternoon.

Rear brake rebuild is on the list for the summer, so just needs a tweak for now to get it done...

Laughed at the stupidity of egayers and sellers.

2nd hand speakers from the UK seemed to be around £190 each on there.  Or around £140 from your local useless friendly dealer....

Finally got round to refitting the inner front wing. Was a bit out of shape, but heat gun sorted that.  :y

Adjusted just before drizzle arrived from Madeira. Booked in for it's partial retest tomorrow.

Apart from some sellers inflating prices higher than retail, the logic behind some Ebay buyers has always confused me.  :-\  A few years back I was after an Alko hitch lock for the caravan. You could walk into any caravan shop and buy one for around £90, but I thought I’d have a look on Ebay for the same brand new locks out of curiosity. People had latched on to one particular seller and were bidding them up to beyond the shop price, whereas I found another seller who I’d purchased caravan locks from before and hit the buy it now for £72.
It’s a strange world we live in.  ::)

It's.the same with Mercedes parts... Cheaper to buy a new clock spring from the dealer than to buy a used one off eBay. Likewise pattern service parts for as much, if not more than genuine ;D
