Is that a full fat RR or another RRS?

(Fuel aside) that is a lovely engine.  Be aware earlier ones have issues with some coolant pipes and water pumps - if yours is one of these, might be worth pre-emptively getting these replaced when you don't need the car for a couple of days.

It's another RRS , I wasn't fussy on either model but was particular  regarding service history & mileage paid my indi to travel over & inspect this one " you won't find a better one" were his words the seller took mine in part payment which was handy so did the deal yesterday, going in next week for a thorough health check, but I'm not expecting any issues, it's very fast compared to the TDV8 which wasn't a slouch by any means.👍

If your garage is an LR specialist, I'm sure he'll know the coolant leak issues on that engine, and will advise appropriately :y

Sounds like you've found a really nice one! Look forward to seeing some pics, once its washed and polished to your exacting standards obviously  ;)

Took the RRS across to Oxford & picked up a 5.0 supercharged autobiography in exchange, what a great journey home over 500 BHP and the sound is amazing 👍

Without doubt they’re a nice place to be.  :y  My mate who I grew up with owns his own Indy business, specialising in Land Rovers of any age, so I get to see plenty of them. He has many Land Rovers of his own, both new and classic. He has two Land Rover Defender 110 Carpathian Edition 5.0 Supercharged (one each for him and his Mrs), two SVR’s, a Bowler Wildcat and many classic Land Rovers to name just a few. He also participates in off-road competitions as well. His Dads coffin was transported to the crematorium in a Land Rover, as per his Dads wishes, as his Dad was an avid Land Rover fan as well.
I would like a Range Rover, even though I can’t really justify one. He runs his supercharged vehicles on Super Unleaded 99 Ron, have you been advised to do the same?
Hope it serves you well, enjoy.  :y

I don't think the RR mob are as bad as the Jaguar forums over polishing, and advising to take it to a dealer to top up the washer fluid.... ;D

We still get two breakdown calls a week with owners who have run out of washer fluid  :-\

No point cleaning it, you'll be mud-plugging it across some fields soon....

They must be on the Jaguar forums, as you can't possibly top up the washer, surely thats a dealer only job. Surely no Jaguar has a bonnet release lever?
