Many thanks to all.  My local mechanic scoffed when I told him I had joined a forum and he told me nothing would beat 20 years experience so take any advice with a pinch of salt.

He obviously had no clue as to the professionalism and knowledge offered by OOF members and can no longer rip me off for unneccessary jobs.

So, thanks to the founders for making it possible for so many helpful people to be so...err....helpful :y

 [smiley=birthdays.gif] [smiley=beer.gif]  well, well, a Happy Birthday to OOF and a huge thanks to the founding fathers for having the balls to get this emporium of Omega know-how of the ground.  TBH I only found out about this site via vxon before one of their admins blanked out the address???

If it hadn't been for the expertise, knowledge and generally good people here, my Omega would probably be in the scrappy and not still kicking and screaming (ah, thats only the cheapo exhaust ;))

So, here's to many more years of keeping our barges afloat!   [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=grin.gif]

Happy birthday to all OOF members, and especially to all the admin guys. This is a top forum, and i log in at least 3 times a day in case i miss something  ::)  With out you guys i would never have got my cambelt, waterpump, steering idler, hbv and soon to be droplinks changed.  8-) Many thanks for all your hard work.  :y

and sadly, no-one seems to know nor care about their omega section, there doesn't seem to much knowledge except when a few familiar names crop up ;)

      I also wish i'd joined earlier but reckon the forum's in it's infancy timewise so i'm proud to have joined in the 1st year. Cracking people (even the ones i've met!!!).
      I log on for a quick look & that's the evening gone. Ebay think i do'nt love them anymore & the telly's threatening to leave home, so somethings working.
           Sure we've got many more meets, b'days & silly behaviour to come.
