Well i would stay where you are in the best part of the country as far as im concerned.

We visit Cornwall every year, Though because of SWMBO has had her operations in fact we cancelled our usual booking in Sun Valley for the end of August again this year because she is not fit enough to travel...We love Mevagissey stayed in the Sharksfin a few times..Perranporth beach,,St. Ives i could go on but it depresses me.. ;D

Enjoy your place of abode it sounds great..I for now will stay in dreary Wales.. ;D :y

I love Wales, having worked there for a number of years when I was 'on the road'. I reckon you guys are the friendliest and made the best work friends in that part of the world, i.e. Cardiff, Newport, Caerphilly, Pontypridd etc etc.

Sorry your not able to come down this year but you know you can fly from Cardiff to Newquay now dead cheap as well. I did it a few weeks ago and it is the only way to travel. If you wanted to take this option anytime, let me know and I could collect you at the airport and take you to wherever you wanted to go :)

Used to have to go to Cardiff regularly for work, always started raining as soon as I crossed the bridge and paid my money.

Been there a few times on hols, but Mrs TheBoy always wants to look around ruined castles....

My daughter flew to Newquay on Friday to meet up with about 40 of her college mates for a weeks holiday - God help the locals!!  ;D  ;D Considering the weather last Friday it really was the ONLY way to travel. Aboout £90 return from Manchester IIRC.

;D I can't even think about things like that. She's 18 and this is the first time she's been away without her Mummy & Daddy to look after her!  ;)  ;)

Back on topic I own a small catering company based in merseyside.A couple of weeks ago I received a letter plus a glossy expensive to produce brosure informing me about the stricter regulations regarding emmitions of delvery vehicals in London, being northwest based I have never delivered in the London area nor do I forsee working in London in the forseable future.
I presume they have got my details from some business data base, which bodes the question how many other businesses has this mailshot gone out to?I shudder to think how much this exercise has cost presumably the council tax payers of London for what I think in most cases will be  a totally erelevant piece of junk mail   :o

Sorry to hear that but the offer still stands if she makes a speedy recovery. In any case, there's always next year. Cornwall's not going anywhere soon :)

Holidays well that is a busy thing we are starting at Wareham near Poole to recce that area, then after 3 days head to Falmouth, we tried to get in a Bude CL for one night no luck so try that next year.

The following holiday will be at New Quay in Wales, so lock up my water pump :(. (had our main one knicked - on my backup one now)

We have been to Saundersfoot and Tenby a few times - lovely there too!

So any members around in those areas in the holidays can PM me if interested
