nice car love the interior but i think id keep my mig, i think the only thing id change mine for is another mig

yup, 4.0 litre, 1990 on the logbook, full main dealer history untill 2003, it drives spot on its just the bodywork, if you look very closely at the top pic you'll see where the o/s/r wheelarch just aint there anymore ! the exterior pics were taken the day before the weldathon !

there are many times i wished i'd never swapped and kept my miggy but these old jags are my biggest weakness, but i am looking for a nice spec facelift omega so its not all lost ! i still love omegas !

Bautiful car the jag, just a shame the cars are blighted by crap rust protection, i have seen these with huge great rust holes in the corner of the rear screen, and notice that you have it on the front of the bonnet underneath, Still turns an eye to this day and the leather looks just scrummy. 8-)

yep too right rust ! this was quite a good'n to some i've had and the welding this needed was unreal ! as you say the leading edge of the bonnet, rust proof it and hope it dont get too bad, at least the boot's ok they can be terrible ! it took a whole day cleaning and feeding the leather, but i think it was well worth it

Very nice though mate, i've also always liked Jag's.
My mate had one like your's, but an old F reg, went like ^%$£$" hell too

it is a phone ! a factory fitted option i believe, it has the jumping cat logo on it anyway, it turns on and works but obviously wont make or recieve calls, and its got a built in hands free kit ! theres a massive control unit for it in the boot aswell. i expect it was state of the art in 1990 !

Nothing wrong with a proper Carphone.... Full 8 Watt Transciever gets you a return signal from a cell where any other mobile would fail.....

I guess it's an old ETACS analogue one though which wouldn't be much use now it's been turned off and we've all gone GSM/PCN digital!

Oh no,that's how you recognise it is a true sovereign or Daimler. This is from the time that the round lights equals entry level model....

Although the interior would stop me from having one again, they are still the most comfortable and best handling car I have driven of the big saloons on the horribly bumpy english country roads...

 That's not true my Ex Father-in-law had a top-spec Daimler with round lights, Jaugar change the bonnet and lights to that type, so to update the model and in doing so upset so many of their customer's,  they changed them back
