Whats the button by the handbrake ?? Didn't have one of them in my mini-facelift ...

Mind you that was a saloon with only the "right" number of pedals ...   :)

I love those seats. All you're missing are the 5 point belts.

Ditto; I really want the same in dark grey facelift, but apparently they don't make them :'(

I've got the dark grey Elite leather and I'd love the sport shaped front seats (I'd get them built with memory in the base)

Cheers Fellas :y

Im suprised that these seats are alot firmer than the standard Elite seats and you tend to sit on the rather than in them, still, probably take some time to get used to them.

Pete.
I ahve the exact same seats fitted into my Elite (they came as a standard option from new) and when I first bought the car I almost decided to get rid of them and revert to the standard leather .Your description of sitting on them as opposed to in them is spot-on.It took me about 2/3 months to convince myself they were okay ..now I find them great and very comfy..slight downside is they get very/very hot in the summer as the colour soaks up the heat, and very very very cold in the winter. My passenger side heater works but takes a while to warm up..drivers side doesn,t but I have a new seat pad to get fitted when I can afford the cost of the upholsterer stripping the whole lot down and re-stitching the leather back after..was quoted £140=00 before Christmas but still saving up.
Just for my info do both yours heat up? and if so are they fairly quick or slow like my passenger side.Andrew

Both the heated seats are not working on mine, but I intend to get aftermarket heat pads and slip them in between the seat pad and leather ;)

Pete.
Perhaps you could let me know what type of aftermarket heater pad you intend to use and how they would fit inside the existing as saves a lot of effort and cost not having to strip it all out.
Also they may heat up a bit quicker !!

Hi Andrew

I am going to use these

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=370006690942&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=024

and just slide them between the foam and leather from the rear of the seat ;)
