and have had the lights looked at by neighbour who took the car to work with him today mot station!!!and him and his boss said that they are ok(legal) :y
he thinks that they must of altered them for me to rhd! ;)

i'm thinking of making my own grill because i quite like the chrome v ::)i was going to buy some mesh and just have a play around or wouldn't you bother and just get the kamei grill??? :y

fleabay(germany)i read in a conversation on here the day after buying them and paying for them that they could be lhd but after getting them checked today i'm over the moon(think they look smart DIFFERENT) :y :y

Cool -- I would have thought they'd be lhd and my german isn't good enough to ask a seller over there --- but it seems they have their act together and supplied the right ones !!!

i match them to number plates.... yes you can fit ones with fancy italic letters or something, or in a smaller font, and your right come MOT time it will fail.

You can put them on afterwards and you are fine for a year until the next mot.......

.... until the Police spot you  ;)

surely if the beam pattern is ok an beam tester it doesnt matter what the lamp looks like ???? :-/

I saw some nice black ones like this on eBay for the facelift, i checked them out, the reflective parts of the lens are no longer reflective...

At the end of the day its the reflective parts of the lens which help the light output... so you will in affect reduce your lights to torches.

1) lights is not one area i wanna fek around with! - More light the better, cutting it down is not a good idea (in my opinion)

2) I think those black lights would look best on a dark coloured car, or even black, they stand out too much on silver and will get noticed by plod. Is it really worth the risk?  :-/

MOT is for 12 months, not just for 1 day  ;)

not on projectors tunnie the clue is in the name bud !! on dipped beam side the reflector does nowt !! :y
