LOL it set us back about an hour when we realised we had to drop Marie's petrol tank - and only because it was 3/4 full. Luckily JamesV6CDX had brought a handy V8 Discovery which was only too happy to devour the unwanted fuel. ;D

Nice looking motor and install ---- DIY or pro ?

pro was installed by medway duel fuel in kent, its the prins system imported from poland...i think

Any idea of the cost?

cost £2200 and took 2 weeks rather then the 5 days they ester mated. i went for the spare wheel tank, they had to drop my petrol tank to bolt in the LPG tank, which set them back a day. which turned out to be faulty so they got another delivered with took a few more days! they charge a set amount and dont take into account labour...thank fudge!

are you thinking of getting it done by them? i dont want too put u off but im having a problem with my cooling system after getting it installed. however it may or may not have anything to do with the work they done.

ill post a bit more info about about the situation when i know whats goin on.

I was until I saw the price, mine might be a bit cheaper being a four pot  :-/
I've emailed them for a quote anyway   ::)
Yeh any more  info would be appreciated, thanks  :y

yeah yours will be.  less parts and less labour!

Kev,

I don't like the tank we put on Marie's and the one I used in mine (same one).

With the LPG pipes exiting from the bottom of the wheel well, I feel that you can't avoid kinking the pipe somewhat because the fuel tank comes right up against it, and it needs to come out on a 90 degree angle.

I don't think I'd use that tank again, TBH...

I see what you mean... You could use one with an external valve box rather then internal (in the hole in the middle) but it might impact the size of tank that's possible. :-/ Failing that, you could probably drop the petrol tank downwards a little to gain more room.
