Been here a while so thought it was about time I posted a few pics of the Omigod.
Bought her in Febuary 2006 from Paul Mimmack car sales in Blackpool. She had recently been de-fleeted from Lincolshire traffic Police who used her as a traffic car since she was registered in 2001. I had origionally went to see another estate that Paul had but it had sold when I got there and this one was left. TBH both cars were pasically identical in all respects, mileage (both only on 100k), age (even the plates were close, the one I was going to see was Y107 and mines is Y117).
So after collecting she came home northward.
Dont have picutres from when I got her but these are a few months later when she had her first set f wheels fitted, Signum Elite 17":

Since then I have truly fell in love with the old girl. She is never going to be the tidiest looking car on the road, but in the last 30,000 miles she has been pretty much faultless, especially given the mileage she has done has been hard, spending a fair bit of time with a Brian James car trailer on the back hauling cars up and down the country:
(this was in Bristol picking up the mates Cavalier, those who read Total Vauxhall will recognise this as being the Supershed)

Since buying her she has had the wheels changed onto Vectra C 17" SRi rims (although currently she is sat on Omega Elite wheels whilst I get around to getting the tracking done as the Vectra wheels have just had 4-new Goodyear Eagle NCT5 tyres fitted to go on).
Last December the roof was painted with the holes being filled in and some roof bars from an Omega B estate fitted and the tailgate was re-sprayed due to rust issues where the stickers had been.
She also had a running problem last year where she started running on 3-cylinders. After replacing a suspect crankshaft sensor, it was later traced to the coil pack being faulty (water had got into it causing ti to expand and rot), so a new set of plug leads were fitted for good measure at the same time.
At the turn of the year I also came across an MV6 estate interior on ebay which I fitted as the GLS interior was fooked (the drivers seat that came with the car was buckled, and a free replacement I had came across wasnt much better).
At the same time I also decided to spray the side moulding Rover Mistral Grey jsut to change the appearance a bit along with some Irmscher side repeaters.
(you can see the recurring theme with towing):

In June this year (unsuprisingly) the n/s rear wheel bearing gave up the ghost and entered early retirement, so that was replaced along with the cambelt, rollers and water pump. Unfortunately when that was done the n/s load adjuster for teh xenons was broken so that needs replaced (if anyone has one pm me please). And not long after the rear handbrake shoes were needing done, at this point the o/s rear caliper was found to be seized so that was replaced with a new calieprs along with discs, pads & shoes.
That pretty much takes us up to the present day. Shes now needing a little TLC, rocker cover gaskets need replacing (show me an Omega that doesnt), and the rear diff seals looking a little leaky so will do that along with the Xenon adjuster. Ive also picked up an Irmscher boot spoiler which hopefully Ill get around to painting and fitting over the weekend.
Will post a couple more pictures tomorow when its light.
Oddly enough Ive yet to drive an Omega that drives as well as this one, I had an 02 2.2 CD & 93 2.0 CD previously as well as driving numerous through work and not one drives the same as this one which is strange.
A couple of pictures of my other 2 cars:
Vectra ST200

and my 300bhp Astra GSI (will be cover car in Total Vauxhall issue 92)
