My CCS-2K1 Conversion possible thanks to TURBOMEGA
« on: 31 July 2009, 01:33:44 »

Started life as a 2001 Cadillac Catera Sport, basically the highest equipped model, in fact its one of 369 Sold in silver for the last year of production.

Hope you fellas like it!

Started like this...

And now looks like this...

Many thanks to TURBOMEGA for supplying me with all the necessary parts.   I don't think I could have done it without his help.

Now I wish I can bring it over to the European Continent for a nice OOF Meet...  ::)

I lke it  :)
I always tend to prefer cars when they're standard. But the little touches like the slightly darkened front lights and changing that orange marker on the bumper to a clear one makes a whole difference. I think headlight washers would look good on it. Might sound a bit of an odd thing to suggest, but I've always thought an Omega facelift looks better with the headlight washers on the bumper.

Without a doubt his car has been an inspiration for me and often used as my desktop wallpaper...  ::)

He helped me acquire a lot of parts for my car and I did the same for him.   We are both trying to have unique rides that are one off examples.
Without a doubt the Omega is my favorite car due to many different reasons.

On this side of the big pond they are not very common and you will be lucky if you spot 1 in a week... so that being said every time I am on the road I see people taking pictures of it or simply turning heads as if a Ferrari or something of that nature was driving down the road.  LOL  ::)

The last thing I am debating on doing is lowering it but that involves a lot of other issues so I am holding off for the moment.

If someone can help me with the EU Chips I would like to do that as well.
I have a spare ECU but need some more opinions from you mates! :( Not much info here!

Cracking car there mate. Well worth the effort and certainly serves as inspiration.

Nice set of alloys as well, although my personal preference was the set you had on before the latter ones in the photos. Howver, I am sure I'm in the minority.
