new "body-snatcher" mods
« on: 12 September 2009, 23:33:37 »

been busy lately with some new upgrades and took a few pics, hope you like.

fitted a pair of FAT goodyear eagles, 255x50x16s from the arse of an 80,s 911.
i,ll not be kerbing the alloys with these on, just look at the size of em.

also replaced the backbox with custom made "OE look" tailpipes, slashed cut to match the bumper.
now sounds like a 50,s grand prix car and wakes the dead instead of carrying them.

fitted smoked side repeaters, touring car style sunstrip, re-located tax disc and blue LED sidelights.

still on the list is a mesh grille, front spoiler, refurbed wheels in black, red calipers and low springs.
its coming on now and i still love it.....

any comments welcome  :y

cheers mate but it actually wants another £400 spent on bodywork to make me happy  ::)
a mate is going to paint the alloys, both bumpers, front spoiler and bottom door sections on the nearside  ;)

after a full power buff it should look like new, then i,ll be happy  :y

That looks good, I like the exhaust...as you say it looks OE...nice. Looks great in black too with the tinted rear windows. I'm not too sure about the blue led's though. You're tempting fate, everytime the police see you should get pulled...told to change them. It all depends on the officer in question. They could easliy suggest you were impersonaitng a police officer. It is a specific offence to have blue lights showing on a vehicle. But nice car  :y

How loud is it when its just ticking over then?

Be interesting to hear it if there’s anyway you can record the sound.  ;D :D
