my new grill
« on: 19 March 2010, 18:42:42 »

my pimping work horse has been treated to some new goodies,

PI lowering springs
bilstien shocks
25mm spacers for the rear
new grill,

as my day off didnt go as planned i only got the grill on

hopefully when i find time i will get the rest on, need to torque up the rear spacers when i find the right settings,

before

and after, to match the rest of the exterior a stupidly rare grill

taken the chrome finish off and colour coded it so its not as in your face,

just to go:
redo my alloys in a gunmetal colour and centre caps,
rear spoilers, thinkin of a m5 one on the boot
do my headlights in that perforated vinyl once it arrives
twin exit exhaust system

excuse me for asking a daft question but what is perforated vinyl? is it like tinted window film? ps the grill looks much better than the standard one  :y

i believe that vinyl is also known as "bug eyes" or "fly eyes" its almost like a mesh. used for tinting headlights legally :y :y

Sorry Matty...Don't like it at all. Makes the car look REALLY old...

This on the otherhand ????  Looks the business on a "dark" Omega F/L.

Your car - your rules, but bit of a shame to fit Billies with El Cheapo springs, I think.
Seriously, you need summat like Eibach springs. Those PI things are rubbish and last only a year or so.
Cheap springs have no real temper and suddenly, the car can get alot lower.............and the struts will take a right pounding.

Makes the car awful to drive too - and yep, I'm speaking from experience! :y

Well after spending a year trying to find this grill I have it on a month and decide to sell the car,

So I will be putting all my "mods" in the for sale section soon

17s
Wheels spacers
Pi springs (fitted for a week)
Opel bits

Shame as I love this car but needs must as I am doin more miles for work and the lovely v6 isn't helping my wallet lol

Also a 2000 x plate 98k mile v6 saloon will be up for sale end of the month
