Me in action in my Omegas and Carltons...
« on: 08 December 2010, 10:06:17 »

Just a few I thought may be of interest, not drifted a vaux in a while as I have to fix (or find someone to!) my white one.

Enjoy :)

In a silly drift comp in essex :)

Welded diff anyone? :D

cut springs and facelift alloys borrowed from the meg make for a cool carlton! Sadly, I had to scrap her, but she took me through to the semi finals :D

The current bain of my life, although now rocking the 17" late elite rims that were on the carlton :)

I'll put more up when I find some decent ones :)

Carlton does look cool mate. When you say you cut the springs, how did you go about that, because the coils are differnt sizes on the top and bottom,to the rest of the spring,so wouldent have thought it would seat properly in the cup.Be interested to hear about getting round that one. :y

err, cut 1/2 a coil top and bottom for the road I think, went further when we used it for this, just same again, bit more each end. Use to rattle around abit when jacked up but under load was fine  ::)

Big cable ties can help if you get carried away... that or similar springs from a lesser model, ie nova :)  :y
