Your car is stunning, what rear spoiler is that?

Thank you... that is the spoiler from the 2004-2006 GTO...

Here is a better angle of it...

Looks great, how do the V8 front brakes mount up? are they pretty much a direct fit?

They are a direct bolt on!... just remove old hardware bolt on new brackets new calipers new pads and you are good to go...

I have one pair if you are interested...

ALso here is another comparison of the OEM spoiler and the GTO one..

Well to be honest Im not sure if the Holden Monaro came with the same spoiler as the US GTO.. .they are one and the same but from the looks of the picture you posted its not the same looking spoiler.

I suppose any Monaro spoiler that mounts like mine would fit since the rears are very identical...

Thats really handy to know, thanks  :y

I have always admired your car, I have been signed up for years but rarely posted because my main car was a Vauxhall Astra Coupe. I love looking at the differences between our cars. My Astra was badged as a Holden

Some old pics, as per your subject

My old Astra on Omega Elite wheels, I joined up to this forum to buy them  :)

And with Mercedes AMG wheels 8x18 fronts and 9x18 rears

Im impressed with the look on the benz wheels?
Now question here...
Arent the benz wheels 5x112mm and the Opel ones 5x110?  How did you get them installed... I want to do something similar but for now Im not sure of any good safe ways to do this..

Im looking to get 18x8.5FR and 18x9.5RR... with perfect offset...

They are AUDI ones from the A5...
Center bore is 66.1, on the Catera/Omega its 65.1 so thats perfect... will need a 1mm spacer tho...

Then I may end up using those wobble bolts... since I only need the hole to be offset by less then a mm on each one...

Due to the wheel offset I cant use any correcting spacers...

You are going to have the same problem that I did, 1mm spigots are not easy to get. you will need to get them fabricated from aluminum or stainless.

If you do get a set then let me know, someone on migweb was making some once.

Its easier to use aftermarket wheels in 5x112 as you can bring the centre bore right down (They normally are in the 70's)

Once you have got the wheels you need to work out how long you need your bolts by using your old bolts as a measure. I have a company near me that supplies the bolts, they were about £45 for 20 but mine were really long (Merc bolts are long)

I have seen bolts that almost look like they have a conical washer on them which would move around about 1mm... so you add that difference on the 5 bolts and you can easily fit a 5x112 wheel... only problem is centering that wheel and thats where the center ring comes into play..

I can have a local mechanic shop machine some for me so I can maybe even get a few extra sets...
