Here is a selection of photos of my two 97 Omega Elites here in Spain. The silver one is pre minifacelift 3.0 litre auto and runs fine but needs a bit of sorting. No music, check straps bust, no boot light etc etc The red one (2.5 litre auto) is one of the very first minifacelifts and apart from a bit of lacquer trouble  is in good original order. We have owned it from mid 99 and as far as I know only Jim on the forum has owned his cars longer. His position is unassaillable for me as the red car has to go! A few problems.






The silver car with trailer is taken at our olive Co operative as we drop 800kg of crop.


The snow capped mountains 40 miles in the background are the Spanish Sierra Nevadas. Taken from a hermitage perched atop a ridiculous mountain near Lucena near Cordoba.

The silver car atop my very handy 40cm high homemade ramp!  Perfect for gearbox changes, oil changes etc etc Can you see my creative use of photoshop?


Last picture is why I need a 4x4. April is mostly spent gathering our winter fuel - tons of olive logs of course.! What else.

the ramp is great as i can personally attest to, however its a bit tight with two of us under there!! so breaking wind is not allowed any longer whilst working on the car!!!

The ramp is brilliant, I am thinking of a mobile tray of bedding plants, or perhaps a sand pit, just slide it out of the way for ramp use.

No! When I was young I used to go special stage rallying. Could only afford that by doing the repairs etc myself. Then worked in offices had to pay other folk as no spare time whatsover.

Now plenty of time ?(24 hours each day available) but no money so DIY it is. If two hand can do it so can I.

Slab of concrete. lay U shape of double rows of Breeze blocks 40x20x20cm. two layers gives 40 cm height. Tin of garage floor paint. I have knocked out the blocks in the end and filled them with a slurry of concrete to make sure it supports the weight.

It doubles as seating with a table in the middle. I want to make a fire pit to cook meat in. mmm Lamb.
