Facelift rear bumper now fitted to my m/facelift M
« on: 18 May 2011, 19:01:13 »

Thanks to Rob for the rear bumper  :y

Before;

After;

Next plans are colour coded door bump strips and sill covers and I think i'll keep the pre facelift front end and colour code it all (or try to source an irmscher front bumper).

Before anyone says it, yes I need to replace my o/s rear tail light after a disagreement with a post  ::)

I'm chuffed with the rear bumper though I think it looks great  :)

Glad you`re pleased with it Terry. Only my opinion but reckon the F/L bumpers look a lot better :y

Thanks guys  :y

I do really like the facelift rears but not so keen on the fronts. I think some shiney chrome tips on the tail pipes may be my next move  8-)

Thanks guys  :)

Does anyone have any pics of a pre facelift front bumper fully colour coded? I've never seen one... only the partially colour coded elite front bumpers.

Did mine 2 years ago - they look soooo much better!

Takes a few years off the car i reckon. Looks good as your old pre facelift bumper looked a little tired. Great work :y

I think you're right and I'm not a fan of black plastic either, colour coded all the way for me.

The plan now is to get hold of some door strips and sill covers in star silver Z147 and then colour code the original front bumper. I did a search and found a silver pre-facelift omega with colour coded front and I think it looks good  8-)
