I've just bought a new motor.

Just bought a V reg facelift elite 2.5 112k
Yes I know its nearly due a cambelt but after doing one I don't see that as a problem.

12 months MOT so the manifold gasket on mine ain't so urgent now.
The big question is do I sell mine as a project, or do the manifold and MOT then sell it with 12 months ticket?
Anybody give me any idea what a 98 S reg 2.5 reflection is gonna be worth as a project or running with 12 months ticket.

Yup its the first time I'd seen it too, needs a bit of tidying up but nothing we can't cope with spose I'm gonna have to put up the apprentice's pocket money to cover the valeting costs.  ;)

Nice looker there, the colour is unusual but looks the part.

Why do people have to take pictures like that, it gives me a sore neck looking at them!!

I saw that, and was tempted to trade in the 2.2 for an Elite.

AAAAAAAAARGH i cant believe i missed that one!! its only 11 miles from me, my search options were set to "less than 100k miles" so i missed it :(

Ermmmmmmm

Very soon I will finish the Elite LPG project.

1999 V-reg Facelift 2.5 Elite saloon auto in persian blue. Gorgeous car inside and out, top spec with LPG too!

New engine going in this weekend, new cambelt tensioners, both exhaust maniufold gaskets, rocker gaskets, new water pump, all oil and filters etc including gearbox, LPG certification and FULL MoT. taxed for 5 months.

Will be open to offers, but it won't be cheap!
