Tunnie's Eurotrip Diary
« on: 22 July 2007, 15:57:17 »

Tunnie was on the ferry at 10:30 this morning, just heard from him, now in Belgium after a 90mph stint, 30.7mpg.

Pictures will follow when he can email (as my SIM can't do MMS)...

Although in defence of my Omega it's behaved now for the last 3(?) years but it did break down 3 or 4 times in the first few weeks of ownership DIS & Crank sensor! >:( It left SWMBO stranded in the buisiest part of the town's by-pass on a Saturday afternoon - how pleased was she?! ::)
The Senator though never broke down or left me stranded in 6 years of owning it - hot starting problems due to crappy wiring to starter had been sorted.

He has had it for quite a while, can't remember when he got it, but I know that he had it in February.

Yep, I am talking about the Gold one.  Did not know he got a red one.  Wonder what caused the replacement?

Tunnie only has the Silver Senny, never had any other. Got it around Jan/Feb.  Should be OK tbh, the car is basically sound, and both of us have spent considerable time sweating blood and tears under it.

90mph blast? Pah...

Me and Mark did 120mph + blasts for hundreds of miles at a time in our old Senny and it never once gave us a problem (aside of the rally stage up a mountain!)

It will be fine, I would have complete faith in one of them across Europe. :)
